Event 1: Disaster Dash by BRACE

• Date & Time: Saturday, June 7^th at 7am
• Location: Seville Square

  The Disaster Dash 5K Run/Walk, organized by BRACE (Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergencies), is an annual community event held in Pensacola, Florida, to promote disaster preparedness as hurricane season begins. Scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2025, the event starts at 7:00 AM in historic Seville Square. Participants will navigate a flat, 3.1-mile course through downtown Pensacola, suitable for all fitness levels, including runners, walkers, strollers, and wheelchair users. After the race, attendees can enjoy a free, family-friendly afterparty featuring a live DJ and educational booths from local sponsors, offering valuable information on emergency preparedness. Proceeds support long-term recovery efforts, the Escambia Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), the Pensacola Fire Corps, and educational initiatives aimed at building a more resilient community.

Scheduled for Saturday, June 14, 2025, this certified 5K run/walk offers a flat, out-and-back course through a Navarre residential neighborhood, making it suitable for participants of all ages and fitness levels, including runners, walkers, baby joggers, and wheelchair users. The race begins at 7:30 AM, preceded by a pre-race ceremony at 7:00 AM.
