Thank you to everyone who joined us for our lifestyle class, Sip Into Retirement! This special event was centered around the art of pouring the perfect cup while exploring the many health benefits of coffee and tea.
At SWAN Capital, we’re passionate about creating meaningful experiences that go beyond finances. It’s a privilege to connect our community with new hobbies, skills, and talented local professionals who bring these experiences to life.
For those who were unable to attend, we’re excited to share a few highlights from what you may have missed.
We had the pleasure of partnering with incredible local experts who brought both education and energy to the morning:
Makers Cafe and Espresso Bar introduced our guests to the world of coffee—covering everything from bean sourcing to selecting high-quality blends. They demonstrated how to craft the perfect pour-over and even walked us through a manual espresso shot. Guests also enjoyed samples of cold brew, drip coffee, and a truly engaging experience.

The team from The Copper Kettle, Robin and Bri, shared their expertise on tea—highlighting its many health benefits and teaching guests how to properly prepare different tea leaves for different needs and times of day.

- Milk Frothe Machine, trust us its worth it!
You will start by heating your milk, this can be done on the stove. We personally love to use the Breville Milk Cafe Frothe machine, it heats milk and froths it at the same time!
Once your milk is warmed to your desired temperature, you will add your cacao. We add roughly 1.5 Tablespoon per 8oz of milk.
Once fully incorporated, you will add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla to the mixture, as well as 1/2 Tablespoon of your cinnamon.
The last step is to add your agave syrup to taste! The beauty of this recipe is that it is fully customizable to your preference, if you would like a sweeter beverage, you can always add more agave. If you are looking for a richer flavor, add a little more cacao. We truly hope this recipe becomes a new addition to your family’s cozy nights in!

Iced Hibiscus Tea 🌺
We all enjoyed this refreshing and vibrant tea packed with antioxidants, offering a slightly tart flavor that’s perfect for warm days. Check out the instructions below for how we made it specially for this event!
- Ingredients
- Loose Leaf Hibiscus Tea (Click Link Here)
- Agave Syrup
- Water
- Orange Slices or Lime Slices for garnish
- Tools
- Tea Kettle
- Tea Infuser
For this beverage, began by bringing your water to a boil. We used an electric kettle for this, but a stovetop kettle will work as well!
Prepare 1 Tablespoon of loose hibiscus grounds in your tea infuser. Once water is boiling, pour over the infuser and allow to steep for 5-7 minutes.
Add agave to sweeten to taste. This tea can be served hot or simply add ice to make a cold beverage!
We like to add orange or lime slices to garnish, this is optional though!

Matcha Tea 🍵
A smooth, energizing green tea known for its calm focus and health benefits—prepared traditionally for both flavor and experience.
During our class, we offered a chance for everyone to taste a iced matcha latte.
